It is beautiful to see the connection between these three sisters and brother.  Our two families met last night for the first time. We had planned to meet at our hotel at 5:00 and then go to the Exito/mall/amusement park. We showed Kelly and Monica pictures of Diana and Nicolas with their mami and papi. Then we told them that they were coming over to visit in an hour and we needed to get ready. Monica colored a picture for Diana and they picked out which family pictures they wanted to show Nicolas and Diana. Then, right before 5:00 we told them to sit on the bed and wait. Just at that moment someone knocked on the door. When Kelly opened it the kids went nuts hugging and kissing and laughing with each other. Then Diana showed our girls all the toys she brought with her in her purse and they all played for a while. At some point Monica showed Diana her drawer full of hair accessories and Diana did both Kelly and Monica´s hair. Nicolas didn´t really know what to do at that point 🙂 Sorry Nicolas. It´s a girl thing.

We had a great time at the amusement park with everyone. As you can see in the pictures the kids loved it and loved being together. Eating dinner in the mall was an adventure. Put four tornadoes together at a small table along with hotdogs, ketchup, and ice cream, next to a winding staircase and a glass balcony,  and you can imagine the craziness that ensued!

We met again today at the supermercado for more playing and lunch. It was a great time for all. At first we wondered how all the kids would do once they saw each other but were part of different families. All in all I think they handled it very well. You could definitely tell that they sought their own mami and papi and yet loved on each other like close siblings. It was so lovely to watch and I´m SO THANKFUL for this time together in Neiva before we head back to the states and they have to say goodbye for a while. God is good and his plan is clearly evident in our unique family tree.
