Believe it or not, it feels like just another day, although I did get teary eyed in church when my brother leaned over and said, “Next time you’re in church you’ll be a bigger family.” I thought that maybe the only thing on my mind these last few days would be our travels, meeting Monica and Kelly, building our family. However, I found my mind wandering during church and making up lesson plans for teaching next year. It was kind of comforting to ‘wake up’ and realize that life goes on after this month. This is just one step of many we will take together and I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead.
Oh, wait. I may have spoken too soon. As I sit here trying to write this post and am continually interrupted by last minute travel prep details to complete, I am feeling a twinge of anxiety set it. I suppose that’s bound to happen. Oh well. C’est la vie. Como se dice que en espanol?
